White herringbone with bronze.
Warm brown tiles with white herringbone in the recesses and brushed bronze fittings.

White herringbone in warm tiles.
Warm brown tiles across the room, with white herringbone as a panel in the recesses and behind the WC. The fittings are brushed bronze and the vanity is white gloss, so the light the brown tile soaks up comes back off it. A 1930s house, and Sam wanted it warm rather than white.

Gloss against a warm tile
The vanity is white gloss with a brushed bronze tap and a mirror lit from behind. Next to it is a tall white towel radiator running the full height of the wall, and beyond that a black-framed shower enclosure.

The recesses carry the white
In the shower are two recesses, both lined in glossy white herringbone. Above them hangs a brushed bronze rain shower. The white tile sits exactly where you see it up close.

The WC gets the same panel
Behind the wall-hung WC runs a panel of the same white herringbone, with the warm brown tiles on either side and a chrome flush plate set into it. The same pattern as the shower, in a different place.
Two to three weeks, and we come and look first.
This bathroom was built the same way as every other one we hand over: thirteen stages from strip-out to handover, and most of them you never see again once it is finished. That is exactly where a bathroom that lasts parts company with one that starts leaking. The whole job takes two to three weeks, and we come round before anything goes on paper.
More work.
We come and look before a single tile comes off.
At your house or online, your choice. We go through all of it: the floor, the grout, the sealant, the falls, the waste. After that you know exactly what is going on and what will work in your room.
